Last year, more than 500 participants were welcomed at the Hotel & Convention Center. They were able to look forward to a high-caliber program. For example, the Secretary of State at the Bucharest Ministry of the Interior, Raed Arafat, devoted himself to the consequences of the commercialization of emergency systems. In addition, Dr. Manuel Tahon, medical director of the French anti-terrorism unit RAID, focused on the police management during major incidents. Furthermore, the Head of the department for public security in the Potsdam Ministry of the Interior and chairman of the Working Group V for Fire Brigade Affairs of the Interior Ministers’ Conference (IMK), Dr. Herbert Trimbach, addressed the challenges facing the authorities of non-police security in the case of terror.
Finally, the President of the Federal Office for Civil Protection and Disaster Assistance (BBK), Christoph Unger, moderated an international debate on state crises and emergency services. They also welcomed representatives from Romania and Switzerland. The congress was rounded off by fascinating specialist forums, including the warning of the population in crisis and disaster situations, as well as multinational crisis strikes.
