Last year, more than 500 participants were welcomed at the Hotel & Convention Center. They were able to look forward to a high-caliber program. For example, the European Commissioner für Humanitarian Aid and Crisis Management, Christos Stylianides, and Stephan Mayer, Parliamentary State Secretary in the German Federal Ministry of the Interior, for Building and Community, spoke to them. Other contributors in Berlin were: Raed Arafat, State Secretary in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Romania, Henriette Geiger from the European Commission and Christoph Unger, President of the Federal Office of Civil Protection and Disaster Assistance (BBK).
The congress was rounded off by fascinating specialist forums, including CBRN topics, flood control, urban security and using of UAVs in civil protection.
